What happens if the management platform becomes unavailable?
AirDroid Business uses continuous monitoring and alerting mechanisms to identify service disruptions. If an outage occurs, the technical team follows established incident response, recovery, and escalation procedures and takes restoration, failover, or other necessary measures based on the scope of impact.
How quickly can customer data be restored?
Sand Studio maintains backup and recovery procedures for relevant cloud services. Recovery time depends on the service, data, and type of incident. Relevant recovery objectives can be provided upon request during a customer security review.
Are backups encrypted?
Yes. AirDroid Business encrypts relevant backups and stores them separately from the primary production environment. Backups are retained and automatically deleted in accordance with established lifecycle policies.
Do you maintain cross-region or alternative environments?
AirDroid Business uses cross-region backup, replication, or disaster recovery measures for relevant data services and supports service continuity through production environment redundancy, load balancing, and recovery procedures. Details of the architecture can be provided upon request during a customer security review.
Is disaster recovery actually tested?
Yes. Sand Studio periodically conducts backup restoration and disaster recovery exercises to validate the effectiveness of the relevant recovery procedures. Details of the testing scope and results can be provided upon request during a customer security review.
How will customers be notified in the event of a major incident?
When a security or service incident has a material impact on customers or their data, Sand Studio will provide notification by email, in-app notice, or other appropriate channels in accordance with applicable laws, contractual commitments, and established customer communication procedures.
Do you rely on a single cloud service provider?
AirDroid Business cloud services are primarily hosted on AWS. Sand Studio manages the associated concentration risk through infrastructure redundancy, load balancing, cross-region data protection, backup and recovery, continuous monitoring, and incident response measures.
